As the holiday season rolls in most people find that their schedule starts to fill up, and often it is one’s exercise routine that is forced to take the back burner. But it doesn’t have to be that way!

First of all don’t stress if you can’t get in your specific workout, on a specific day at a specific time – be flexible! And if you only have 30 or 40 minutes to squeeze in a workout here’s a very good option that is guaranteed to give you a good fitness boost!

Warm Up: 15min.
The Workout:
4 or 6 or 8 times through the following: 90 seconds at slightly faster than 5k race pace / 90 seconds very easy jogging.
Cool Down: 3-10min.

The key here is to ensure you have a very significant difference between the hard work and the easy jogging!
