No one is. You need to work your way in. Peak performance requires a relentless commitment to physical, technical and mental development to build a peak performance mindset that will guide your choices, decisions and actions every day. Simply put: Your willingness equals your will power. If you only ever give 90% in training then, you will only ever get 90% results. You can’t hit what you don’t see, so visualize your victory and commit to your mission with blind faith in your ability to persevere when the going gets tough. Will there be sacrifices, obstacles and failed attempts along the way? Absolutely! To be a peak performer you must have faith in the process. See the hours of training, the mental challenges and even the fact that you’re missing some social events as opportunities to learn, grow and develop, not as obstacles. If you see these hurdles as opportunities to learn, grow and develop the necessary skills to accomplish bigger things, you’ll have a much better chance of making that happen. Instead of responding to challenges with frustration, fear or anxiety, face them head on with a sense of excitement and you will achieve the victory you’ve been training for.
